Shantui Co., Ltd. Officially Applies 5G Networks to the Field of Intelligent Manufacturing

On February 1, 2019, in Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Shandong Unicom and Huawei opened the first industrial plant 5G site in Jining. Tests showed that the network is stable, the network bandwidth is 1Gbps, 10 times faster 4G, and the network delay is 20ms, less than one third of 4G. The opening of the 5G site of Shantui Co., Ltd. is another feat after Shandong Unicom opened the first public 5G networks in Jining, marking that Shantui Co., Ltd. officially applied the 5G network to the intelligent manufacturing field.

Smart factory is one of the important application of 5G technology. 5G is not only a technology enhancement, but also a new era of "application services". Taking Shandong Unicom and Shantui's strategic cooperation in 5G as an example, with Shandong Unicom's 5G technology, Shantui will further promote the intelligence of the entire construction machinery and form an autonomous, intelligent construction fleet.
